Special requirements for bills of lading in major ports of Central and South America

Brazilian ports:

The bill of lading must show freight, CNEE/NOTIFY's TAX ID (CNPJ), HS CODE, NCM NO.And tare weight.Telex release & SEAWAY BILL & destination port release is not accepted and only original bill of lading is issued.

Argentine ports:

HS CODE (NCM NO) must be displayed on the bill of lading (Maximum for multiple item names).Customs stipulates that the bill of lading must show hs code, but it does not show that there will be a fine.Shows the full name and address of SHPR/CNEE/NOTIFY, TEL/FAX/TAX ID (CUIT NO), can't do electric discharge & SEAWAY BILL, can only issue the original bill of lading, and the bill of lading is accepted in POD.

Mexican ports:

The TEL/FAX/TAX ID of SHPR/CNEE/NOTIFY must be displayed on the bill of lading, and the electric amplifier & SEAWAY BILL is accepted, but the POD bill of lading is not accepted.

Chilean ports:

Bill of lading must show ocean freight, do not accept CNEE/NOTIFY TAX ID, SEAWAY BILL, only issue original bill of lading, accept POD bill of lading.

Ports of Dominica:

The bill of lading must show freight, TAX ID (NIT NO) of SHPR/CNEE/NOTIFY, and if the product name is tyre, chassis number and production date must be shown on the bill of lading.Do not accept Telex release & SEAWAY BILL, only issue original bill of lading, accept POD bill of lading.

Uruguayan ports:

The 4-digit HS CODE of all product names must be displayed on the bill of lading, the name, address and tax number of SHPR must be displayed, the name, address and tax number of cnee must be displayed (RUT NO), and the name, address, telephone number and tax number of NOTIFY must be displayed.No. (RUT NO), do not accept electric discharge & SEAWAY BILL, accept POD release form.

Colombian ports:

The name/address of CNEE/NOTIFY/TEL/FAX/TAX ID (NIT NO) must be shown on the bill of lading.CNEE must be a local company in Colombia.Electric discharge and ocean bill of lading are not accepted.Only the original bill of lading is issued and accepted in POD.

Venezuelan ports:

CNEE/NOTIFY TAX ID is required on the bill of lading. SEAWAY BILL is not accepted. Only original bill of lading can be issued and POD bill of lading is accepted.

Ecuadorian ports:

TAX ID of CNEE/NOTIFY is required on bill of lading. Electric amplifier & SEAWAY BILL is not accepted, and POD bill of lading is accepted.

Costa Rican ports:

Freight must be shown on the bill of lading. No SEAWAY BILL is accepted. POD bill of lading is accepted.

Peruvian ports:

Freight must be shown on bill of lading. Only signed original bill of lading is accepted. Bill of lading is accepted in POD.

The Port of Honduras:

Do not accept Telex release & SEAWAY BILL, only issue original bill of lading, accept POD bill of lading.

Guayaquil Port:

TAX ID of CNEE/NOTIFY is required on bill of lading.

Jamaican ports:

Accept Telex release & SEAWAY BILL, but not bill of destination port release.

Other ports

Guatemalan port: Do not accept electric discharge & SEAWAY BILL, accept POD release form.

El Salvador Port: Do not accept electric discharge & SEAWAY BILL, accept POD release form.

Nicaragua Port: Do not accept electric discharge & SEAWAY BILL, accept POD release form.

Port of Puerto Rico: Receiving the SEAWAY BILL & POD Release Form.

Port of Paraguay: Accept the release form of & SEAWAY BILL & POD.

Port of Panama: Accept the release form of & SEAWAY BILL & POD.

In addition, some Central and South American countries, such as Brazil, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Dominica, Venezuela, etc., are all countries that can pick up goods without orders.In these countries, as long as the goods are unloaded from the ship to the dock, the rights of the goods already belong to the consignee, and the consignee does not need to cooperate with ChinaYou can declare and pick up the goods to the customs by exchanging D/OShipping agent.
